Elena has over 25 years of experience in the financial sector in regulatory compliance and internal audit – related positions. From 2007 to 2018 she worked for NBG Group as head of regulatory compliance of NBG Asset Management MFMC and as deputy head of operations of the private banking department. From 2001 to 2007 she served as internal auditor of Proton MFMC and from 1996 to 2001 she worked for the asset management department of Eurobank -Ergasias Bank. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Athens, with a specialization in statistics and has received international accreditations on compliance and anti-money laundering.
She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors of Greece and of the Association of Compliance Officers of Greece.
